Welcome to the Mining Industry Geospatial Consortium.

The Consortium strives to identify the most significant software and data-related problems being faced by the minerals industry and to identify possible solutions. Once identified, the Consortium will act to see these solutions implemented.

By acting as an industry, we will dramatically increase our influence on vendors and minimize costs to the Consortium members.

You can also join the MIGC through the web site using PayPal or download a membership form to submit through the mail. Annual membership is US$100, but is free for qualified students.

Next Meeting

The next meeting of the MIGC will take place in conjunction with the ESRI User Conference in San Diego. We will meet on Sunday, August 7, from 1:00- 4:45 in the Convention Centre. Thanks to ESRI for providing the meeting room and refreshments.

To join the MIGC, please register first. When you do, you will be sent a confirmation code to the email address you specified. When you get that, log in, and then go to the Members page to pay the membership dues online. When you have made your secure payment (using PayPal), you will receive a confirmation email and gain access to the members-only features of the site.

If you would prefer not to sign up online, please download the MIGC Membership Enrollment Form , fill it out, and send it on to the address shown on the form. Your enrollment will be confirmed via the email address you provide on the form.
